This amenity forest was first opened in 1989 and developed rapidly in 1990. This area is located in the Labis Forest Reserve and is in Compartment 17 with an area of 210.93ha and Compartment 18 with an area of 156.28ha. The distance between Sungai Bantang Waterfall and Segamat town is about 64 km and 8 km from Pekan Bekok.
The theme “Your Outdoor Recreation Destination” has been introduced by the Segamat District Forest Department for camping and picnic purposes.
Various activities can be carried out such as jungle trekking, camping and picnics. There are basic facilities that have been provided such as bridges, stairs, parking, leisure areas, public toilets, changing rooms and so on. For those who love camping, camping areas are available around this amenity forest. This area has its own uniqueness of nature. The crackling of clear water splashes. The melody of the Bird’s song.
