Johor Bahru

Johor Bahru, capital of the Malaysian state of Johor, sits at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula.

It is said that the name of Segamat came from the expression ‘Segar amat!’ meaning ‘Very fresh!’

 It is the main departure spot for many islands. One can access various islands from Mersing jetty such as the Rawa Island, Dayang Island, Aur Island, Pemanggil Island and more

Tangkak

The town is nicknamed “Fabric Town” or “Syurga Kain” in honor of its many cloth shops

Muar

 The District constitutes Muar City and also Tangkak’s small district. It is located near a border with Malacca in the north, Segamat in the east and Batu Pahat in the south

Kluang name derives from the Malay word ‘bat’, which means a big bat or fruit bats
