Johor Darul Ta’zim FC, also simply known as JDT, is a football club based in Johor. The club was founded in 1955 and currently plays in the top division in Malaysian football, the Malaysian Super League. The club is owned by HRH Major General Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, The Crown Prince of Johor.
Johor Darul Ta’zim FC is the first team ever in the country to win five consecutive league titles (2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018) since the inception of Malaysia Super League in 2004. Before this achievement, no team had ever won the league championship more than two successive years since a league system was first introduced in Malaysia in 1979
