Jamek Sultan Ibrahim Mosque is a famous oldest mosque in Muar district located in Bandar Maharani.
Its construction began on February 15, 1925 where the architecture of this mosque was drawn by the “Johor painter” at that time, Mr. Sulaiman Bin Haji Ilyas and led by Major Al-Haj Muhammad Said Bin Haji Sulaiman. Fully inaugurated on 28 February 1930 by His Highness Tengku Ismail (Tengku Mahkota Johor) and the Honorable Dato’ Mustapha Jaafar (Johor Chief Minister).
