One-Off Tourism Johor Incentive Assistance to Restore Competitiveness and Boost the Glory of the Tourism Industry

Johor Bahru – Tourism Johor expressed concern by continuing the implementation of One -Off incentive assistance from the Johor State Tourism Sector to those affected, especially to tourism industry players such as accommodation operators (hotels, resorts, chalets and homestays), travel agencies, and drivers. tourists who are major contributors and catalysts in the development of the tourism industry This incentive is in line with the Johor Budget 2022 which was tabled in the Johor State Assembly on 26 November 2021, for the tourism sector under the Majestic Johor agenda. A total of RM1.64 million is allocated for the provision of One -Off incentive assistance to the Johor Tourism Sector, among others: –

  1. Pemberian insentif One-Off RM2,000 kepada 207 pengusaha hotel bajet di negeri Johor yang berdaftar di negeri Johor.
  2. Pemberian insentif One-Off RM1,000 kepada 233 pengusaha homestay yang berdaftar di negeri Johor.
  3. Pemberian insentif One-Off RM2,000 kepada 187 agensi pelancongan yang berdaftar di negeri Johor.
  4. Pemberian insentif One-Off RM1,000 kepada 621 pemandu pelancong berlesen yang berdaftar di negeri Johor.

Tourism Johor is committed to continue the implementation of One-Off Incentives to the Tourism Industry in an effort to inject the spirit to survive and revive the glory of the domestic tourism industry through applications for assistance opened to eligible tourism industry players in the state of Johor from 8 February 2022 to 8 March 2022. Apart from that, Tourism Johor is always together with industry players in an effort to focus on the domestic market to continue the struggle to build and restore industry competitiveness and is confident that this incentive assistance can provide some benefits & relief to ease the burden of all affected tourism industry players and able to improve the achievements of the tourism industry in the state of Johor.
